Centrally situated on Seil Island in the village of Balvicar, the shop and post office is run by Alistair and Jean McFarlane. Balvicar Stores is open from 8.30am to 7.30 pm every weekday and 9.00am until 7.30pm on Saturday. On Sunday the shop opens from 9.30am to 2.00pm. If you can't get it here it probably doesn't exist.
